Organisers of the Australian Formula Powerboat Grand Prix decide on Friday if round one will go ahead in Taree next weekend.
They’ll determine if the Manning River is safe enough to compete on following last week’s flooding.
Organisers are confident the event will be full steam ahead, promising an action-packed two days, featuring local and international drivers.
Grafton is scheduled to host round two of the series in April.
