Police have refused to speculate whether magic mushrooms are to blame for the death of woman in South Lismore this morning.
Paramedics treated the 44-year-old in her Union Street home, but she died on route to Lismore Base Hospital around 730.
A post mortem will be carried out, and a report prepared for the coroner.
Police say it will be several weeks before the cause of death is known.
