Beaches up and down the Mid-north coast will be buzzing with budding grommets this summer, with the national surfgroms program taking over.
Former pro surfer Lee Winker, who co-ordinates the Surfing Australia initative in Coffs Harbour, says the response has been overwhelming since its launch in October.
