It’s been called the plane that saved Australia during the desperate years of World War Two, now a group of volunteers is hoping to restore a Catalina seaplane to full flying condition.
A festival to help raise badly needed funds will be held at the site of a wartime Catalina base on Lake Macquarie this weekend.
