Today, from the Lismore Rescue Helicopter Base, the tour to hell began.
All geared up and ready for battle, 25 mountain bikers fare-welled their loved ones for the first leg of “Hell On Wheels.”
The eight day, 675 kilometre pedal will take challengers on the ride of their lives, through some of the far north coast’s most difficult terrain.
The annual tour is held to raise money for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.
