Police have located a knife which they believe may have been used in the killing of a man at Waratah on Monday evening.
The body of 62-year-old Dennis Griffin was found in his apartment on Tuesday afternoon.
He’d suffered multiple stab wounds.
Neighbours and friends have described Mr Griffin as a quiet, friendly man.
Investigations into his death are continuing.
