RAIL LIFT BACK 12 MONTHS

Work on the long awaited project has been pushed back between six and 12 months, with commuters labelling the situation as embarrassing.

  1. The situation at Cardiff Railway Station is ridiculous..we were promised a lift and the former member for Charlestown Matthew Morris worked long and hard to have the work approved but the present member Andrew Cornwell to my knowledge has shown little interest in ‘pushing’for that promise to be carried out.. There is no way my 83yr.old husband is able to access the station from the car park…There is no ‘dropping off or picking up ‘area on the main road near the station..the only way he can access the station is to be dropped off at the bus stop- which is illegal and we risk a heavy fine if caught doing so..So much for a swinging seat and the new member working hard for something that had been promised for the people of Cardiff. On your news to-night 5/10//11 there was no sign of our new member for Charlestown only Sonia Hornery the member for Wallsend.
