CONCERT FOR BLIND BOY

A Charlestown family, desperate to help its blind son see, will hold a concert on Sunday in the hope of raising $20,000 for a third round of controversial Chinese stem cell treatment.

Connor Wink’s family claims the treatment, which is banned in Australia, has already improved his light perception.

Monash University has been invited to conduct research at the Chinese facility.

Connor’s concert is at the Adamstown Uniting Church on Sunday October 9 between 2-4pm.

Tickets are $20, and be purchased at the door or at Latham’s Music (Westfield Kotara), with guest performers The Funky Do Da’s, Julie Wilson, Rod Barnes, Steve Hudson, Micth Capone, Ali Calder, Gareth Hudson, and of course, Connor himself.
