THREE AIRLIFTED AFTER INVERELL ACCIDENT

Two teenagers have been airlifted to Saint George Hospital, while another has been flown to John Hunter in Newcastle, after a car accident near Inverell.
Police say an 18 year-old man was driving a ute with three passengers, when he lost control, hitting a number of trees.
Two teenagers who were travelling in the tray of the ute were thrown from the vehicle.
One sustained serious internal injuries while the other has a fractured leg.
Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash.
