EDWARD SAFFIN SENTENCE POSTPONED
The son of Federal MP, Janelle Saffin will have to wait until October to be sentenced for his role in an armed robbery at the East Lismore Bowling Club in July.
Today, Magistrate James Black postponed Saffin’s sentence until his principal co-accused is also sentenced next month.
Shaun Peckham and Joshua Southgate were charged with armed robbery with a dangerous weapon, after they allegedly used a rifle to steal $5,000 from the club.
Mr Saffin and Kristopher Smith pleaded guilty to being accessories after the fact, for helping the pair flee in a getaway car.
