A former Catholic priest facing 137 child-sex charges will most likely stand trial over offences relating to two of his 11 alleged victims, after his defence and the Crown failed to come to an agreement over the facts.
The 59-year-old reappeared before Armidale Local Court today, alongside solicitor Glen Kee.
His defence team is expected to submit a written plea offer in relation to matters involving the remaining nine alleged victims by Friday.
A non-publication order surrounding the man’s identity remains in place.
