World famous environmental advocate Erin Brockovich is planning to visit the Newcastle suburb of Stockton to hear community concerns over the Orica chemical spill.
More than a week since potentially carcinogenic hexavalent chromium was vented over the suburb of Stockton, residents still aren’t convinced they’re getting enough information about the cause of the incident and their level of exposure.
Orica has invited residents of Stockton to attend a public information session to be held in a marquee on Dalby Oval, Mitchell Street, Stockton, at 7.30pm on Thursday, 18 August.
