Tweed Heads surfer Jared Neal has taken out the feature event of the New South Wales longboard championships at Bonny Hills.
Neal won the open nine-foot division, while Port Macquarie’s Ian Bell took the honours in the open eight-foot.
The week-long event was contested in small, but clean surf at Rainbow Beach.
Port’s Craig Munro and Gary Taylor from Bonny Hills also won their divisions, earning places on the state team for the Australian titles in August.
