Byron Shire Council says it will review a number of its payment procedures following the sackings of two council staff, and disciplinary action against three others.
A joint investigation by the council and ICAC found the five staff members inappropriately accepted gifts, including vouchers and clothing, and misused council property.
The anti-corruption body’s full report will be handed down at next week’s council meeting.
