HUNTER FLOOD WATCH

Up to 100 millimetres of rain has been recorded in the Upper Hunter valley over the last 24 to 48 hours.

This rain is expected to cause minor flooding at Muswellbrook and Denman later today.

While major flooding is expected around Dungog, where the Williams River expected to peak at 9.2 metres early this evening.

Further rainfall is forecast for today and Thursday which could produce some further river rises.
