ANTI DRINK DRIVING CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED IN MANNING

The festive season has arrived, and with plenty of people getting into the spirit, pubs and clubs in Taree have thrown their support behind a campaign to combat drink driving.
“It’s always great at this time of year to have that alternative way home and that’s what we support so if we can encourage that we are more than happy to- there is always taxi’s and courtesy busses so there are plenty of options out there,” The Exchange Hotel’s Adam Skinner said.

The ‘RBT Means you need a plan B initiative uses high visibility signs and chalk painting on pathways to remind people about the consequences of drink driving.
“Unfortunately we just need to think about a plan B option and make the right choice,” Greater Taree City Council’s Chris Dimarco said.
