  1. Look in the mirror and in your hearts always… and act from there!

    Love always,

    1 Planet, 1 Life, 1 Family

  2. Coal seam Gas impact s our water, air, health, homes & lives . Coal impacts & gas impacts have created a monster of unregulated ecomomy driven evil. Wake up Australia ,these industries are owned by foriegn multinationals who store their own resources & plunder ours. Time we all stood up. This is a finite resource, our water is our life!

  3. It’s like giving your 17 year old their first car and then saying, “Wait a minute honey, before you drive off in it I just want to fill it full of sewerage”. Our kids won’t thank us for pulling out all stops and making a bigger mess for them to have to deal with, especially when the alternatives are there… The technology DOES exist – ask Zero Carbon Australia! The Coal Seam Gas Industry must be stopped, not just in Australia, but around the world. Sooner or later we must move to renewables, so why are we not doing that right now? We are stealing from our children, just so a handful of us can be even richer… hope the corporate monkeys have their little space pods well fitted out… there won’t be any returning to earth for a while after this lot goes down!.

  5. Tell every one what is going on. This country has been completely sold off to the mining companies and most of the Australian population is still sound asleep.

  6. Destroy the farms & water supply & what’s left for feeding the increased population in XXXX number of yrs – import from China/India? Greed is fueling the gas/coal exploration & the Federal/state governments are desperate for the royalties – to Hell with the farmers & farms. So what’s the farmers National Party doing – also waiting for the spoils as well I assume!

  7. It’s jobs and the economy stupid!! Pollies are so damned blinkered.
Never mind that fracking will destroy the land and the water and the jobs will go down the gurgler along with the poisoned water we will be expected to drink. What about the economy when the richest productive farm lands are made into a wasteland … where will our food come from and what the hell are we expected to do in that wasteland. Julia and Tony, I dare you to go visit the wastes of those US states caused by fracking, then tell us it is good for our country and the economy.

  8. Uncontrolled pollution of our groundwater and release of Methane (20x worse than CO2)….Why would we risk it?? The assault to our prescious earth continues in the name of the mighty $. Sad and Stressful times for all those who care about the future of our planet

  9. It is my understanding from the numerous media reports of pollution, mismanagement and total unaccountability by the gas companies and the government that the government has at worst been keeping the general community in the dark as much as possible and lying to them with their statements of full control over regulation and management of coal seam gas extraction or at best they are totally incompetent and are putting at great risk the future of our nation and children’s inheritance.

I am therefore supporting and demanding to the full extent of any power that is available to me a moratorium on coal seam gas extraction and a public inquiry into its long-term effects.

  10. Its so typical of a government to keep the public off balance by their so called deep dedication to saving the planet for your grandchildren and future generations, yet they allow these companies to invade the open farmlands and disregard the rights of the landowners/tenants by keeping them in the dark. I live in the new england electorate and moved here after I fell in love with the countryside and the open and friendly people. We actually know our neighbors and trade cuppa visits just to say hello. The neighbors help each other and care for each other. The kids play on the streets as traffic is not an issue in a town of less than 600. Its a beautiful and refreshing lifestyle compared to what we chose to leave in the city. I looked on the website of the representative of my electorate and did not find much information in regards to coal seam gas mining. He did talk about “setting up rules” but I am sure the PM has not made it a priority so he will not act aggressively in regards to the rights of his constituents. He has instead bought $5.9 million worth of land in areas that could later prove lucrative in regards to coal seam gas mining. I have since found out that the mining is getting closer to us.
