Police are hunting two men who held a gun to the head of a hotel manager at Wallsend, before taking money from the cash register.
The men, both aged in their early 20s and wearing hoodies, broke into the Fire Station Tavern on Nelson Street at around 10:30 last night.
They threatened the manager in his office before stuffing cash in their backpacks and fleeing in a car.
