The search for a 20-year-old quad bike rider has ended with the discovery of the young man’s body in bushland at Ashtonfield, near Maitland.
Concerns were raised by family members late yesterday when the man hadn’t returned from a ride in bushland near his home.
Police and SES members scoured tracks in the area until about 2am. The search resumed this morning involving the Westpac and Polair helicopters.
