2010 ROAD TOLL

Preliminary data shows 2010 was the one of the worst years for deaths on our roads.

In 113 fatal crashes, a total of 126 people lost their lives across the North Region Command, which stretches from the Central Coast to the Tweed shire.

Last year 123 people died.

The deaths make up 33 per cent of the state’s road toll, with the Southern Region Command the next highest with 92.
