And the Pittwater to Coffs Harbour celebrations are set to continue long after the first yacht comes in, with the annual Festival of Sail on until Thursday.
Tomorrow night there’ll be a movie and fireworks display at Jetty Beach, while Tuesday will see on-shore and water activities and a giant sand-modelling competition.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the sails return to competition for the Solitary Islands races.
