WHALE OF A MURAL FOR WOOPI

Woolgoolga’s reputation as a whale watching venue is being taken a step further with a mural almost complete on the town’s water tower.

Sawtell artist, Lee Holmes, has been working on the project for several months.

Wet weather and strong winds have delayed the project’s completion, but an offical opening is set to be held next month.

The mural is appropriately located on the town’s popular whale watching headland.

The artwork was funded by the Chamber of Commerce and the Coffs Harbour City Council.
