ROUS WATER FLOURIDE LEGAL BATTLE HEATS UP

The legal battle against Rous Water’s plans to add flouride into local water supply is heating up with deputy chair David Yarnall subpoened to give evidence in the Land and Environment Court.

His evidence is expected to relate to the reasons he changed his decision to approve flouride at Rous’s April meeting.

” Councillors were informed that they would be personally liable if they did not vote for flouride and we find that quite reprehensible”

The case has been set down for March 14 to 18.

Mr Oshlack has offered to drop the case if Rous Water agrees to stop building the five fluoride dosing plants.
