The fight to fast-track stage three of the Lismore Base Hospital has stepped up a notch with community action group Our Health starting a petition.
They say the hospital needs a bigger emergency department, to handle the region’s growing population.

They’ll be hitting the streets in coming weeks to muster support and are hoping for at least 100,000 signatures.
