TIGERS WORKING AS A PACK

The Greater Northern Academy rugby league squad has worked out an early game plan for their matches in February next year.

After working on individual skills in the opening three training sessions, the squads worked on set plays during this weekend’s final run of the year.

With most of the squad returning from last summer, coaches believe they possess the players to execute an expansive style.

“We’re going to be fairly strong in our forward pack, and we’ve got a couple of really good kids playing at the back in our fullbacks and wingers and that as well.”

The Academy will meet again in Werris Creek on January 18.
