A man has died after a three car collision near Newcastle Airport at Williamtown.
He was trapped in his station wagon on Nelson Bay Road for a short time, before being rushed to John Hunter Hospital, where he died this afternoon.
Several others, including a two year old, have non life-threatening injuries.
Police are seeking witnesses to the crash.
