Police continue to investigate a sickening and savage attack in the Hunter Valley, that claimed the life of a jack russell terrier.
Seven-year-old Clyde was taken from his owner’s property and repeatedly shot with a crossbow, before the carcass was returned.

I cannot express how sickened i felt when i heard this on the news tonight and nothing further that i could write here regarding the “waste of space scum” that committed this act would get printed here, so all i can add is this.
The poor owner of this dog has offered a reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the “less than low-life” that did this.
I’m on a pension but i would like to add a further $50 to the reward money and hope that others might also contribute whatever they can afford to show garbage like this that we as a community will no longer tolerate or accept this kind of inhumane and completely anti-social behaviour in our society.

As the owner of three Jack Russells, I can quite comfortably say that if it was me in that situation, I wouldn’t be looking for arrest and conviction. I’d be taking matters into my own hands. Absolutely disgusting.

I was absolutely sickened when watched NBN News and seen what that dirty low life
did to that poor Jack Russell. I hope they get what they deserve and more! What will they do next, they are sick.
I have no words,.. I came home after work this afternoon to my 11mth old Rspca rescued dog and I hugged him and played for longer than usual. i simply cannot imagine what, how, why, ???!!!?? I feel incredibly sad for this man,.. Please know that there are people out here that are normal, and we sympathise with you, this evil (there is no other word), will hopefully be found and locked up. there should be no need for a reward, someone out there knows something,…. i feel sick.

Something has to be done in Australia to boost laws against animal cruelty. Who ever did this needs to be treated as if they did it to a person. Personally i say let the punishment fit the crime, give him a 10 step head start…

I love all animals, especially dogs. I too was sickened by what i saw on NBN’s news story last night. I feel so sorry for that poor man and his other dog who must be missing Clyde so much.

We have an eight month old jack russell named fergus and he is a very special animal.
We are still grieving over the cruel killing of Clyde and we know that the sick bastard responsible will be caught and sent to gaol, where he will receive his just punishment for this despicable act.
If the person responsible reads this message you better be scared shitless because your day is coming.

This is absolutely disgusting!! I have 2 dogs and a cat, who are all a much loved part of my family. If the poor dog was to bite this piece of shit it would be put down. The same f###ing thing should happen to this barstard. You watch all the shows on sick pricks who kill people, they all started with animals. To me, whats the difference to an animal or a human, except this poor little thing couldnt cry out fdor help. I hope whoever did this dies very soon, in a very inhumane way..Cause if it was any of my animals you did this to and I found out who you were, belive me you would!!!!!
