BOY AND WOMAN CRITICALLY INJURED FROM HEAD-ON COLLISION

A woman and young boy remain in John Hunter Hospital, following a horrific crash at a notorious blackspot near Singleton.

As of Friday evening, the woman is in a serious condition, while the boy is stable.

Two other children were injured in the collision, emergency crews spent more than an hour pulling the woman from the wreckage.
