Members of a small rural community battling to save their land from a massive dam development, took their campaign to Sydney today.
The No Tillegra Dam group took a couple of dairy cows with them, turning heads in Martin Place.
By bringing the country to the city, the group aimed to showcase the lifestyles and livelihoods they claim will be lost if the dam goes ahead near Dungog, north of Newcastle.
It’s part of a long running campaign to get the New South Wales premier and planning minister to reject the proposed dam.
