A pregnant woman was trapped in her car for over an hour this morning after it was struck from behind by a truck on the Pacific Highway near Emerald Beach.
Emergency workers had to cut open the woman’s Honda CRV to free her from the wreckage.
A second woman also had to be freed from the wreck, both only sustained minor injuries.
The crash which occurred around 8.30 this morning caused traffic chaos for morning commuters on their way into Coffs Harbour.
