Newcastle skateboarder Brad Pearson has claimed top spot at the first round of the Cone Head Cup at the legendary Kincumber drain.
Central Coast riders rounded out the minor placings, thanks to Glenn Mills from Foresters Beach and Noraville’s Ben Hay.
33 skateboarders from across Australia took part in today’s round, which is the first of seven.
Each competitor took on the slalom course four times, with only the fastest time counted.
The event continues tomorrow, with boarders competing against each other instead of the clock.
