Reports notorious paedophile Dennis Ferguson is living at Kurri Kurri in the Hunter Valley have been strenuously denied by police.
Several residents had reported seeing Ferguson in Brunker Street, but Central Hunter officers say he is definitely living in Sydney.
Police also say he has no family or contacts in the Kurri area, nor does he have any way of travelling there.
