Here’s a happy ending to a duck tale we brought you earlier in the week, about a group of angry birds terrorising a quiet Port Macquarie neighbourhood.
The quartet of quackers, which we now know to be Muscovy ducks, had even attacked an elderly woman who had to be rescued by a passer by.
After seeing our story on the plight of the folk of Kooloonbung Close, a kind-hearted woman with a large property near Kempsey, offered to take them.
The once-vicious ducks are now enjoying the good life along with several other birds, goats, and geese.
And the residents of the quiet cul-de-sac are venturing out of their homes again after weeks of ducking for cover.
