  1. I wish to thank NBN for coming to the story on Alec, we are hoping that maybe some assistance will come forward or hopefully a government member may have seen it and help with evening care. I’d like to know why in the Newxcastle area this care is available but not in Gosford? We didn’t get a chance to ask how NBN could also help to get a new car for Sonya as this one is about 10 years old and starting to have major expensive problems. Anyway thanks again. Yours sincerely Annelies

  2. I think that it is wrong that his poor mother can’t get help from the goverment looking after Alec overnight. Children with high medical needs should be no different from any other disabled person in the community that get carers or nurses. The goverment should help this mother with nurses overnight when they can to give her a break. They should cover the cost like they do with other disabled people. This mother will get tired and run down and who will look after Alec. There are plenty of people in the community that get more care than they need.
I hope businesses and people keep supporting families like this. As you can see the airconditioner has made a big difference to Alecs life. Thankyou to the companies and people that have helped.
