Policing can be thankless job, but today mid north coast residents took the time to honour their local officers.
33 police officers from Laurieton to Nambucca were recognised for their professionalism, in an awards ceremony at Port Macquarie’s Church of Christ.
Among those singled out for their dedication, was former Superintendent Paul Clark.
He was given the New South Wales Police Medal for 40 years service.
