Too big, too ugly and poorly situated are the concerns Teralba residents raised at a public meeting last night, about a controversial Department of Housing Development proposal.
Locals crowded the Teralba Bowling Club, most voicing their opposition to plans for 40 cluster units to be developed over four blocks in the heart of Teralba, which they say will destroy the atmosphere of the small suburb.
The Department of Housing is expected to finalise its plans for the development this month with residents given 21 days to comment.
