More than $375,000 has been spent upgrading playgrounds throughout the Hastings.
Just two months ago a lone set of swings was the only play equipment at Town Beach.
Now there is plenty to choose from in what has become a very popular hang out for the younger set.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council has upgraded seven of its playgrounds, most of which are now completed.
The council will also look at installing further shade structures at other high-use playgrounds as they are upgraded.
