Coffs Harbour’s mental health unit is facing a crisis following the revelation of chronic staff shortages and the suicide of a 23-year-old male patient at the facility in May.
While the circumstances of his death are still being investigated a bomb scare this morning forced the evacuation of the unit at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
