Tonight is a big night for the Manning Regional Art Gallery, with the winners of the 2009 Manning Art Prize to be announced.
For the first time in many years, there was no theme, leaving the artists to indulge their imaginations.
300 paintings, drawings and sculptures have been entered in the competition, including this cockatoo, created entirely from polished cutlery.
And this year the general public will get to have their say, with the introduction of a people’s choice category.
The 120 selected works will be on display at the gallery until October 18.
