Two protesters have been arrested and cut free after chaining themselves to the front stairs of a Sydney building, protesting against a fourth coal terminal in Newcastle.
20 protesters wearing hospital gowns and lab coats blocked the entrance of the Governor Macquarie Tower this morning, urging NSW Planning Minister Brad Hazzard to reject the proposal based on the health and environment impacts.
A third woman was also chained but was unlocked with a key and not arrested.
