An alleged domestic dispute in Moree sparked a major man hunt across the north west today.
[TAKE: MAP] (TAKE MAP)Police responded to an incident at a property at Terry Hie Hie (pron: high-high) after a 47-year-old man, believed to be armed with a gun, threatened to harm himself.
Police say a number of weapons were seized at the farmhouse.
It’s believed the man fled the scene in a vehicle, leading to a wide-scale search around Bingara, Manilla, Boggabri and Narrabri.
The man was last seen near Boggabri driving a 2006 model, gold coloured, Volkswagon Passatt.
He’s been described as caucasion, with a slim build and black hair.
