Moree residents rolled up their sleeves on the weekend to give blood.
The Australian Red Cross Blood service collected blood from more than 450 people, with the Moree Secondary College transformed into a temporary medical facility for the two-day drive.
Another drive has been set down for later in the year.
It’s understood the Red Cross is now considering expanding the service to include the donation of bone marrow.
