$500,000 in federal funding has been allocated to eliminate black spots on Coffs coast roads.
Five areas, including the intersection of Hogbin and Hi-Tech drives at Toormina, will receive raised median strips and illumination.
Pedestrian refuges will be built at the intersections of Hogbin Drive and Boultwood Steet in Coffs Harbour, and at the intersection of Bowra Steet and Wellington Drive in Nambucca Heads.
