NEWELL HIGHWAY CRASH

A single vehicle accident 40 kilometres south of Narrabri on the Newell Highway has left two males badly injured.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the crash site at 5.30 yesterday afternoon.

One man was taken by road to Narrabri Hospital with chest injuries, before being Airlifted to Dubbo Hospital were he is tonight in a stable condition.

A 59-year-old male was flown to Tamworth Base Hospital with head, chest and leg injuries and is reported to be in a serious but stable condition.
