Fire has destroyed a house at Bolwarra Heights near Maitland.
The brick and tile house on Maitland Vale Road was quickly engulfed late this afternoon.
There was little the fire brigade and rural fire service could do save the house but firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, were able to confirm that all occupants had escaped the burning building.
Investigations are underway.
