Their motto is to help anyone, anywhere, anytime, but now it’s Taree’s Volunteer Rescue Association turn to get some extra assistance of its own.
The rescue squad today commissioned a new vehicle, fully equipped with with life-saving equipment for all forms of land rescues.
A special ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by past and present members and representatives from other emergency service organisations.
The Taree-based rescue squad has been operating for more than 35 years.
