PLENTY TO CHEER ABOUT FOR HOME CLUB AT NSW BMX TITLES

Lake Macquarie’s Rachel Jones has taken out the women’s pro division at the state BMX titles on her home track at Argenton.
Earlier in the day she was locked in an intense battle with Queenslander, Chelsea King.
In the men’s pro open, Beijing olympian Luke Madill snuck home to claim the title, with Billy Joliffe edging into third.
More than 850 competitors, ranging from three years old to 65 are taking part, with riders from the host club Lake Macquarie finishing on the podium on several occasions.
