The Nationals have drawn ahead of the Greens in the race for the seat of Lismore.
Incumbent National, Thomas George, is leading Greens’ candidate Adam Guise by around 1500 votes after preferences.
More than 82 per cent of votes have been counted.
But the good news ends there for the Nationals, who have had a swing of more than 22 per cent against them.
