THIEVES RAMRAID WOLLONGBAR PETROL STATION

The owners of a Wollongbar service station have been left with a damage bill worth thousands of dollars after a ram raid early this morning.

It’s believed the man stole a car at about three o’clock, before using it to smash his way into the front of the Bruxner Highway business.

He stole cash and cigarettes before driving off.

Calvin Conlon, who owns the service station, says he and his wife are devastated, but are hopeful the offender will be caught.

“I just hope the police will deal with him and Karma will catch him up shortly.”

Police are currently reviewing security footage.
