Lismore’s ‘Our House’ charity has been given a helping hand,
Thanks to a sizeable donation from Lismore City Council.
Today, it was presented with a cheque for just over $9,000…the charity benefiting from council’s annual charity golf day.
“It’s been running for over 30 years now and we try to get a worthwhile charity recipient every year, this year we picked our house.”
The money will go directly towards the charity’s hardship fund.
“Which is where people who just find it financially hard to pay the tariff that they can apply to us and the hardship fund will pay it for them.”
